Richard was last seen in the film "Repeaters" opposite Dustin Milligan and Amanda Crew. He not only starred in the film but also produced Repeaters through his production company Rampart Films. Repeaters is a gritty mind-bending thriller about three twenty-somethings who find themselves in an impossible time labyrinth, where each day they awaken to the same terrifying day as the preceding one. The film premiered at the prestigious 2010 Toronto International Film Festival.

In 2009, de Klerk also starred in the award winning film Cole, directed by Carl Bessai. He received a 2010 Leo Award nomination for "Best Lead Performance by a Male in a Feature Length Drama" for his portrayal of the title role. De Klerk has appeared on the big and small screen in many challenging roles. He received the "Best Actor" Award in London for his starring role in the feature film Part Of The Game. His other big screen credits include Bang Bang You're Dead and Mr. Rice's Secret. De Klerk has had guest starring roles on some of television's most popular shows including "Stargate SG-1," "Supernatural," "Andromeda," "Cold Squad" and more.

Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, de Klerk has been a professional actor for over 15 years. In addition to being an actor he is the Senior Vice President and part owner of Rampart Films; a Vancouver and Los Angeles based production company. Rampart films produces commercially viable, thought provoking feature films and documentaries.
